Countries include sovereign nations as well as self-governing territories considered "nation-like" by the United States Central Intelligence Agency's World Factbook. For example, I have been to the island of Guadeloupe in the Caribbean, but its flag does not appear above because Guadeloupe is a non-nation-like dependency of France and is therefore included via the French Tricolore . In contrast, Bermuda's flag does appear despite its being a part of the United Kingdom because it is considered a nation-like, self-governing territory.   ——Neal Enrick
